Christian a.k.a. astonuts

Following a recent move, I took smaller roads to drive my Renault 5 (check my #astonutsR5 hashtag for more photos of this car) to Alsace region. Suddenly I saw a giant fist and halted. My passenger and I then had some surreal words ("didn't you see the fist ?") and I got back. So, here's "Iron Fist", an artwork by Chinese Liu Bolin. This @liubolin artwork had been shown in 2014 at the Grand Palais in Paris thanks to @galerieparisbeijing. You can now spot it in Lorraine region thanks to a partnership with @ventdesforets. The fist is the artist's left fist that is reproduced, measuring 3m60 and weighting 7 tons. It's engraved with Pekin propaganda motto, the Beijing Spirit : « Patriotism, innovation, integration and virtue ». Turned downside in the other way than the revolutionary fist, it's also a symbol of tremendous pressure faced by Chinese people (living conditions, political environment, pollution ...). . . . J'ai récemment déménagé et j'ai pris des petites routes pour rapatrier ma R5 (à retrouver via le hashtag #astonutsR5) en Alsace. À un moment, j'aperçois cet énorme poing au bord de la route et je m'arrête. Après un dialogue surréaliste avec ma passagère ("tu n'as pas vu le poing ?") et un demi-tour, voici donc "Iron Fist", une œuvre du chinois Liu Bolin. Cette sculpture de @liubolin avait été exposée devant le Grand Palais en 2014 grâce à la @galerieparisbeijing. Elle est désormais visible en Lorraine grâce à un partenariat avec @ventdesforets. Il s'agit du poing gauche de l'artiste qui est reproduit dans une œuvre de 7 tonnes et 3 mètres 60. Ce poing est gravé du slogan de propagande actuel de la ville de Pékin, le Beijing Spirit : « Patriotisme, innovation, intégration et vertu ». Tourné vers le bas, il s'oppose au symbole révolutionnaire du poing dressé vers le ciel et symbolise également les pressions énormes que subissent les Chinois (conditions de vie, climat politique, pollution ...).
